DuPont™ Pyralux® AP VS DuPont™ Interra™ HK 04J
I've seen presentations on HK04J for power / ground pairs an even used it
myself. Since some PCB suppliers we would want to use for quick turn stock
Pyralux AP but not the HK04J, I was asked about a substitution. When I
compared data sheets, I didn't see a significant difference.
Can anyone comment?

My experience is with the AP, but in a RF carrying flex situation where it has
to be covered with something else to avoid Au plating and soldering. I missed
that you were wanting to use it in a rigid stackup, which has different
process. I've never used Pyralux in a rigid stack. In general I've found the
Pyralux to be good stuff that meets the data sheet specs.

There are several Pyralux materials. My question is specific to AP which has a
very low loss tangent. There are also FR and LF versions which, due to
adhesive, have high loss tangent.
